Parking and Access
- From Hana Hwy, you’ll see the expanse of the park on your left. Just past the park is the left turn into the Ho’okipa overlook and parking lots.
- As you follow the road, to your right you’ll see a parking area on the bluff overlooking Ho’okipa beach park. This is a great place to stop and watch all the surf action, especially on big days!
- To access the beach, keep following the road down a hill where you’ll see parking areas and picnic pavilions.
- Close to the bluff, access is via stairs. Farther down the beach you can just walk out from the parking area directly onto the beach.

- This park has full facilities and amenities: restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and garbage cans.
- There are 2 lifeguard stations here.
What to Bring
- Bring the whole family and a camera! Auntie recommends a GoPro, beach chairs, umbrellas, and some snacks from nearby Pa’ia town for a picnic.
