Pacific Whale Foundation 2 Hour Whale Watch

Lahaina Harbor Departure

Multiple Check in Times

Whale Watching is a Seasonal Activity, Available from Mid December through early May.

Maui is the seasonal home of thousands of Pacific Humpback Whales.  They swim from their feeding grounds in the North Pacific near Alaska to the warm waters surrounding Hawaii to give birth and to mate.     Whale Watching is one of our favorite activities at Auntie Snorkel.  The Humpbacks are the size of Gray Hound Buses and their grace and power will amaze you.  Pacific Whale Foundation is proud to be Maui’s #1 whale watch choice.   Pacific Whale has a large fleet of state of the art, ultra-stable,  power catamarans, perfect for whale watching.   Their tours depart at multiple times throughout the day.   Their whale watch tours are two hours long and are narrated by Pacific Whale Foundation’s certified Marine Naturalists.   As you watch the whales interact the Naturalists interpret their behavior.  You can even listen to the whales sing through underwater hydrophones!  It is not unusual to see dozens of whales, breaching, spy-hoping, and fluke and tail slapping.  Watch as mothers and calves interact and males compete for females.

Whale sightings are guaranteed on all Pacific Whale Foundation whale watches from November 26 – May 15 or you go again free.  They see whales over 96% of the time.
