Aloha and Welcome to Maui

My name is Melissa McCoy and I’ve owned and operated Auntie Snorkel / Aloha Destinations since 1986 on the island of Kauai. In 1989 I moved back to Maui from Kauai and in 1991 opened our little shop at the Rainbow Mall. I have lived in Hawaii since 1974 when I stepped off the plane on Maui and honestly expected to discover grass huts! I’ve come along way since then. Auntie Snorkel is my roots here in Hawaii in business. On Kauai, I had a 64 sq foot kiosk in Koloa and now we only have 20 sq feet on Maui. Always small, we strive to offer great prices on ocean sports rentals and activities and boast that we are the friendliest snorkel shop on Maui. We not only offer ocean sports equipment rentals, but interisland air tickets, fly drive and overnighters to the outer islands, but we can assist you with any of our current or future travel needs (alohadestinations.com) including Hawaii Cruises and Hawaii Cruise Shore Activities (at a better price than the cruise ships). Our friendly staff, Misty from Kalamazoo and Katie from the Fiji Islands, would enjoy your call or visit to the shop to share their Aloha.

There are so many really wonderful things to do here on Maui and on all the beautiful Hawaiian islands. Personally, I love to snorkel, dive, kayak and hike.
